Taekwondo is for everyone. Men, women, children or even elderly people can learn. Women train the same as men. Children can benefit from self-discipline and the skills that will develop will help them improve their self-confidence and personality. Older trainees receive the same amount of training with the younger ones, although the instructor does not require the same endurance. Each instructor pushes you to the best you can achieve; there is no competition with anyone in training sessions. You can adjust your practice to match your strength and skill, but the harder you try the more you benefit.
